Girls With Drills
t-shirt design, illustration and screen printing
Girls With Drills is a project fighting for inclusivity in making, by helping to provide young people with equal opportunity and access to skills in making. The project is lead by engineers Kisha Bradley and Ruth Amos and is encouraging tomorrow's inventors, programmers and tinkerers, helping them gain the skills for careers they otherwise wouldn't consider.
With every top purchased, Bright Box Makerspace provides a young person with a maker session free of charge.
I was also lucky enough to be asked to illustrate and hand print the first batch of the new design and they continue to be locally printed in Sheffield. You can buy the t-shirts, hoodies and tote bags to support the project at girlswithdrills.com.
